Fr. Ralph Pfau
(1904 - 1967)
was the founder of the NCCA. Through his dedication and commitment, many Catholic priests, religious and laypersons found recovery and were restored to the faith family, leading productive and hopeful lives.

Ralph Pfau was the first Catholic priest to recover from Alcoholism through AA.

NOTE: ON NCCA DRUG AND ALCOHOL ADDICTIONS WORKSHOPS. For each of the past 6 years, the NCCA has organized and presented a special DRUG AND ADDICTIONS WORKSHOP that has prceded each of the NCCA's Annual Conferences. Thus, these workshops have been held in Pheonix, Winter Park - Florida, Savannah, San Diego, New Orleans and Houston. The evaluation feedback from attendees has been most positve; In San Diego and in Houston, a Spanish track of the workshop sessions was also provided.
